Ms. Hutchins received her bachelors in Communications and is a certified mediator and arbitrator. Previously, she was the mid-day producer at WBBM-Am Radio - Chicago. Most recently, she is fininshing production of a PBS documentary exploring family, marriage and divorce from the past, present and future.

In addition, addressing the issues of harrassment, hostile enviornments and bullying, Carol works with school districts, faculty, parents and students in alternate dispute resolution training. Her training material has been used exclusively to benefit both children and adults.

Carol is a member of the Mediation Council of Illinois, the Society for Professional in Dispute Resolution, as well as the Editor of Mediation News, a publication of the Mediation Council of Illinois.
