Lindy Korn, ESQ., President & CEO
Lindy Korn, Esq. is President, Founder and CEO of Diversity Training-Workplace
Solutions, Inc., a consulting firm to assist employers with employment
related risks in a proactive manner by establishing fair operating
procedures.
Ms. Korn was admitted to the practice of Law in 1979. In 1990
she was appointed by the Governor of New York to serve as a Commissioner
of Workers' Compensation for a seven-year term. As an Appellate
Judge and member of the Board, Ms. Korn heard complex workplace
issues through out the state, presiding over settlement calendars,
awarded attorney's fees and balanced the equities of proposed
settlements before awarding them. Ms. Korn also served on four
other boards, including Fraud Prevention, American's with Disabilities
Act, Cost Reduction and Ethics.
Presently Ms. Korn serves as a mediator for the EEOC-Western
New York Region and for the U.S. DOJ concerning ADA matters. Ms.
Korn also is Co-Chair of the Alternate Dispute Committee for the
Women's' Bar Association of the State of New York.
